This means that the handling and performance of the bike is excellent, it certainly performs brilliantly for the money! The gears and brakes are Shimano Deore and function very well. The front suspension is Fox 32 F120, with Fox Float R rear suspension. There is simply no poor quality equipment on the bike. Even the handlebars and stem are Raceface Ride, with matching seat pillar fitted with a Fi'zi:k Nisene saddle. It even has good tyres, Kenda Nevegal.
The retail price is $2999. Good range available at $1699.
Anthem X3 is the entry level price point bike in the Anthem range and is packed with quality. The Anthem X is the lightest full suspension bike Giant make, and even the X3 uses the same frame, it is simply fitted with cheaper suspension and componentry.
It is fitted with Shimano SLX / Deore gears and Shimano hydraulic disc brakes. Even the crankset is Deore (often companies shortcut in this area) Fox lock-out shocks on the front and Fox Float R on the rear really make this the ready to race bike without blowing the budget. It is finished off nicely with Mavic rims, Giant branded bar, stem and seat post and Michelin tyres.
